So...
Recently over the last 6 months to a year I have had a lot of women coming to me complaining of weight gain, fatigue, anxiety, mood swings, and overall feelings of unhappiness. Many of these women were in their mid to late 30’s-40’s.
It occurred to me that I’m in that age range. I’ve listened to their symptoms. I‘ve seen my mother go through a horrible time with endometriosis, menopause, and finally a hysterectomy. I decided to do a little further digging on my own to explore not only my options when these problems arise but options for my patients who are struggling with these problems.
There is some education in here friends but also some tactical items so stick with me until the end.

Sometimes we find ourselves tired… I mean flat out tired…mentally, physically, emotionally. Just TIRED. Those are the days and times that we are most vulnerable to the enemies attacks. When I say the enemy I don’t mean your husband or your toddler. I mean Satan. As a christian he is enemy #1 and he comes to steal, kill, and destroy. He wants to steal our happiness, kill our joy and destroy our marriages and relationships. I know…I sound super doom and gloom…but you know what…(I’m gonna tell you a secret…God wins…)
There will be times where we are weary and burdened and feel like throwing in the towel. That’s ok because God has given us words to meditate on…to encourage us. He has given us examples of people and nations in the Bible that have struggled just like us…and he has shown us that he was there for them and he is letting us know he will be there for us also.
I don’t claim to be a Bible scholar…just a God-fearing mother that wants to learn more about my Creator and how He wants me to live my life.
I hope this episode touches your heart like it has touched mine!
