I’m Jennifer. A wife, mother of 3 amazing boys, and a Christ-follower. I’ve been a Nurse Practitioner for almost a decade, and I have seen many patients who were searching for answers but got prescriptions instead. It hurt my heart to see women who wanted answers and solutions, to only be given prescriptions and vague directions in the form of “eat better and exercise.” They needed to get out of the traditional healthcare box, and I wanted to help. So I started doing some digging on my own and learned how to better help women like me that wanted more than platitudes and a prescription. I discovered Lifestyle Medicine which is NOT a “quick fix diet” but a sustainable way to balance family, life, and health. Gut Health and Fertility go hand in hand. It sounds crazy since they are two completely different systems of the body. Gastrointestinal vs. Reproductive but it is important to know we are not one body made of different systems. We are a different systems that work together to make up one body. All of our different systems in our body work together. So if one is off balance or out of whack it can throw the others out of balance also.

Stress is a direct caught and/or contributor of the majority of chornic illnesses and chronic illness visits to primary care providers.
This contributes to guy dysufunction which can cause more gut problems that contributes to more chronic disease.
It is a very vicious cycle!

I will always share free information on this podcast with the intention that you will hear and put things into practice (with the blessings from you PCP). Honestly, if you binge listened to all 116 episodes of this podcast you would have all of the information you needed to make a HUGE lifestyle change.
